Coming to Australia, one of the first things I noticed was that people like to shorten words over here. Pronouncing my family name Duivesteijn in English is a task on it's own (try it, if you dare). Besides that, there is also a lot of room for potential misspelling in that one word. Having said all that, it seemed logical to shorten 'Duivesteijn' to 'D' in DRAFTS BY D.
